Climate Change Training

Policy and regulation are driving climate change issues to the forefront of business decision making; this creates a need for organizations to understand the full extent of their greenhouse gas (GHG) emission impacts.  This is further reinforced by the movement towards a carbon-constrained economy which opens up opportunities for the well prepared organization.

Because accounting for GHG emissions can be complex - e.g. across supply chains, chemical processes and combustion sources related to a variety of organizational activities, products and services - third-party review of calculated and reported GHG emissions is widely used to provide confidence for users in the results reported from organization’s formal and informal carbon accounting systems.

Course instruction is based on the requirements of individual GHG programs, for example the mandatory California Reporting Regulation, The Climate Registry’s voluntary program, or the EU Emissions Trading Scheme.  The principles and skills are applicable to any GHG Accounting Process, and Future Perfect’s expertise allows us to make site-specific recommendations to help customize your training program.
